University of Virginia Chemical Engineering Graduate Program Video

The department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Virginia asked Mountain High Media to create a recruitment video for Ph.D. students. The goal of the video was to highlight the many opportunities available to Ph.D. students while showcasing what sets them apart: family atmosphere and faculty engagement. We began the process by writing a script from the perspective of a real UVA ChE student. We toured many incredible labs and selected our film locations. Then we created our shot list and worked out the details of casting, wardrobe, and additional requirements. We recorded the voiceover and filmed all scenes within one week. The final product is a video that is both beautifully shot and authentic in voice.
